This usually happens because the permissions on your hard drive have been corrupted. Start by searching the internet for instructions on how to fix permissions on the Mac. If this does not work, start Finder and browse to /Users/Shared/. If you see a folder titled “Vensim”, rename it and try installing again. If the folder does not exist, you’ll need to search the web on how to set the correct permissions on the /Users/Shared/ folder.
