All variables will appear black, except for the Shadow Variable word of mouth demand which has an equation defined in the first view.
Ø | Enter the following equations and units of measurement for each variable in this view: |

Now we will return to the first view and complete the feedback loop by linking its structure to the variables in the view Capacity.
Ø | Click on the View button (on the Status Bar — currently reads "Capacity") and choose Customer. |
NOTE You can also use the Page Up / Page Down keys on your keyboard to step through views.
Ø | Select the Shadow Variable tool and click below and right of the variable new customers. Choose Capacity from the list (or type the first few letters of Capacity) and press Enter (or click OK). |
Ø | Repeat this process for the variable widgets per person. |
Ø | If necessary, move the variable total market lower and move the arrows to make room. |
Ø | Select the Arrow tool and connect Capacity to new customers, then connect widgets per person to new customers. |
