The basic time range for a simulation is determined from the Time Bounds tab of the Model Settings dialog or from the equations for Vensim's control parameters. Typically these are model constants and can also be changed temporarily before simulating the model. You can control the time range displayed in graphs independently using the Time Axis tab of the Control Panel. If you make a simulation that is beyond the time range currently set in the Time Axis tab this range will be expanded to show the whole simulation.
