The molecule diagrams are color-coded according to the following key:
Parameters are purple.
Dynamic inputs are green.
Dynamic outputs are blue.
These are not hard-and-fast distinctions. Any parameter that varies over time may be a dynamic input, and a dynamic input that happens to remain constant may be treated as a parameter. The 'interesting' outputs from your perspective may differ from what is highlighted in a given molecule.
Lookups (table functions) are treated like parameters, because they are in effect parameterized functions.
