In the discussion so far it is important to note that there is only a single product or service represented. Because of this it does not matter whether demander 1 gets things from supplier 1 or supplier 2. Thus we can solve for how much each supplier provides and how much each demander gets, but not who gets what from whom. While this is fine for "commodity" markets, in many cases the supply and demand connections are important.
We are working on a MARKET MATCH function that will match suppliers and demanders based on their preferences and capacities. This function will be available in a future Vensim Release.
