This function is used to force Vensim to transmit all hot data links that have been requested of Vensim acting as a server. Normally this data is transmitted only when Vensim is about to store the current period's simulation. If you are using this mechanism to pass data to another application and also querying that application for values, you should call the vensim_transmit_dde function before requesting values.
