Changing the Appearance of a View

Scroll Prev Top Next More

To speed model building, the Sketch Editor has been designed to allow you to change the appearance of sketch objects with any tool that is currently selected.  This means, for example, if you are using the Variable tool to rename variables, you can also reposition those variables without having to select the Pointer tool.

NOTE The Magic Wand and Delete tools are destructive by nature and cannot be used to move objects or customize appearance.

Many of the changes you make to a View affect only the appearance of a view and have no impact on the structure of a model.  The only changes that impact model structure are adding and removing variables and the connections between variables.
