Search and replace can be invoked using F2 or Shift-F2 key, from the menu items Edit>Replace Var or Edit>Replace String or directly from the bottom menu. When you press F2 your cursor will be displayed in the bottom menu next to find. Type in the string you want to find and press Enter. The cursor will move to the replacement box — type the replacement string. The Status Bar will appear as:
Press enter again. The Status Bar will be replaced with:
While the word that was found will be highlighted in the text. You can click on the choices (Yes, No, All or Quit) or type the first letter of the choice you want. After you are finished you will see the message:
