When you select the Run Venapp command from the File menu (or Open a Venapp file), your application interface is read and loaded. Simple mistakes of a syntactic nature are reported if they exist, and the contents of your application are read in and converted to the internal format used by Vensim. After all of this is done, the first screen is setup.
