The mathematical form of a System Dynamics model is derivative(X) = f(X), where X is the vector of stock variables (excluding time), and “derivative(X)” is a vector of the net inflow (rate of change) to each stock variable. The linearized form is derivative(X) = A * X, where A is a square matrix. If the model has N state variables, X is length N and A is N x N.
Ticking the "Generate linearized model results" checkbox in the "Run informaiton" section of "Simulation Control" will also output a .tab file with the same name as the run which contains these calculations.
