The most common thing you will do in SyntheSim mode will probably be to change model constants by moving around sliders and observing behavior.
Moving Sliders
To move a slider simply position the mouse over the button slider’s , press the left mouse button down and move the mouse to the left (to decrease the value) or the right (to increase the value).
As you move the mouse the value of the constant will change, the model will be simulated and the results displayed. This process is repeated continuously in gradations that depend on the size of your model and the speed of your computer. The value of the constant you are changing is displayed in the button of the slider. When you let go of the slider a final simulation is made at the value of the constant displayed and these results are stored so that you can use the analysis tools to review them.
It is possible to have more than one slider representing the same constant (as would be the case with Shadow variables). If this happens these additional sliders will be updated when you let go of the mouse button to match the slider you are working with.
